After our first night of too much (is there such a thing?) wine and treats, we woke up our first morning feeling ready to take on the world. How do you top that you ask? Easy: brunch.
Bobby's is conveniently located at Kierland Commons, walking distance from our hotel. When we arrived we were ushered through the restaurant but that didn't stop us from gawking (keeping it classy always). It was totally modern with dangling lights and retro musician canvases. However, we opted for a patio spot. That sun, you know?
We heard about brunch at Bobby's before we arrived in Arizona. What sold us, you may be asking. Two words: mango mimosas.
We both opted for big, fluffy vegetarian omelets covered in avocado and feta cheese. To put it mildly, it was eye rolling, finger licking, conversation stopping as you inhale everything on your plate, good.
I think it's safe to say that was the best brunch I've ever had and, if you know anything about me, you'll know that brunch is one of my favorite words.
We left Bobby's full and happy and wandered back to spend the rest of the day lounging around by the pool. Difficult life, I know.
