Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas. Everything about it. The laughter, food, chaos, secrets, music, everything!
For my family, the Christmas festivities start with a big dinner on Christmas Eve.
This year we went to Bucci, my very favorite restaurant here in town. It's eye rolling, finger licking, eat every last crumb off your plate good. There were also twinkle lights everywhere which is a surefire sign that it's a topnotch place.

Stuffed and happy we rolled drove home, put our party pants on, opened a bottle of wine and watched the best of all the Christmas movies.
We were happily relaxing when someone heard Santa, then we rushed upstairs and jumped in bed.

Christmas morning it was finally time for presents!
I think we all were pretty happy.

After pressies it was time to do some last minute Christmas baking.

I had to sample one . . . or three, you know, to make sure they were okay for the rest of the family to eat.
We finally headed over in the late afternoon to join the rest of my family and swap presents, food, and gossip.

Once everyone has caught up, our night becomes a night of eating (and shenanigans).

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
