No vacation is ever complete without a little road trip. Saturday we thew on our Lewis and Clarke shoes, jumped in the car and took off to explore Frankemuth, "Michigan's little Bavaria". It's a place full of horse drawn carriages, riverboat rides, chicken dinners, big wooden bridges, and unique little boutique shops.
Our first stop was Bronners, the largest Christmas store in the world. Obviously.
There's something so deliciously strange about Christmas in July.
After getting fully into the Christmas spirit (and then slightly let down upon realizing it's only July) we left the store and spent the day wandering around town.
Oh, and by the way, only 151 more days until Christmas.
Not that anyone's counting.
